Taslima's early interest in mehndi, evident from her school days when she applied henna for teachers and won competitions, evolved into a professional pursuit. Despite initial unpaid bridal work, her passion grew, leading her to balance education with her art. The turning point came during the COVID-19 lockdown when, encouraged by her sister, she took an online course on making organic mehndi cones. At the age of 20, she began selling her own products, a journey inspired and guided by @mehandiby_isha, marking the beginning of her entrepreneurial path in the world of henna artistry.
